Slumber party

Saturday night, Ellie and Josie had their first "Slumber Party" at my brother's house with their cousin Natalie. I'm not sure how late they stayed up (I know they had pizza for dinner and all slept together on the small pull-out in Natalie's room), but they were tired little girls when they got home Sunday. So tired, in fact, that Josie fell asleep on the couch a little before 4pm. We couldn't wake her up for dinner, couldn't nudge her awake enough to get into her pj's or brush her teeth. So tired that as I type this at 7:20am, she's still sleeping. Both girls are. Those three little girls must have enjoyed quite the slumber party!

(While the girls were at Mike and Jen's, Kyle and I went out for dinner then watched the movie Lincoln. I loved the book Killing Lincoln, and watching this movie was another great glimpse into our nation's history. At least our history according to Spielberg. Highly recommended!)
