Last week, Josie asked to eat her lunch under the dining room table. The only place in the house bathed in warm sunshine. Who can blame her? If I could have fit my butt under there, I would have curled up like a cat and soaked in some vitamin D too.

It's Spring
The vernal equinox was about a half an hour ago – it's officially spring. That's a little hard to believe since as I look out my office window I see snow blowing in sheets down our road and over the field. Last year we enjoyed a 70-80˚ week at this time. Remember that? What a treat. Unfortunately, the early warm weather, followed by a freeze meant we didn't enjoy any fruit last year. (That explains the $5 can of cherries I bought a few weeks ago.)

I am sooooo over the winter weather!
ReplyDeleteOur puppy does what Josie did, looks for a sunny spot to catch a few rays, flops down for a snooze.
I stood out in the cold, but sunny weather one day this week just to get some pure, natural vitamin D. Darn near froze.
