Starting at point A, eventually making it to point B, but with numerous turns and distractions along the way. Just when Kyle or I would feel as though the end was in sight, something else would require our attention. More than once we were faced with a situation that was out of our realm of knowledge. Seriously. Last week was exhausting!
Thankfully, my in-laws asked if they could have Ellie and Josie for the weekend. Perfect timing. The girls had a mid-winter break, and Kyle and I were in desperate need of two quiet, rejuvenating days at home. (Thanks, M&J!)

Happy that our timing was good. We do enjoyed having the girls here. We had simple fun, but fun none the less.
